This Privacy Policy explains how ESD PETS HEALTH LLC, which owns and operates the EDUZEBRA brand ("EDUZEBRA", "we", "us", "our"), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit eduzebra.store (the "Site"), purchase our products, or communicate with us. It applies to our website, email and SMS programmes, and customer service. It does not apply to purchases made on Amazon or other third-party marketplaces, which are governed by those platforms' privacy policies.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal information as defined under state privacy laws, and we do not collect human health information. Information about your pet is not human health information and is used solely to recommend suitable products.
3.2 How we use your information

3.3 How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We do share it with the following categories of recipients:

Service providers who process information on our behalf: our ecommerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, fulfilment and logistics partners, shipping carriers, email and SMS platforms, customer service and helpdesk software, reviews platforms, and analytics providers.

Advertising and analytics partners who receive limited identifiers and activity data through tracking technologies to measure and target advertising. Under some state laws this activity is treated as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" and you may opt out — see Section 3.7.

Professional advisers including lawyers, accountants and auditors, under confidentiality obligations.

Legal and safety recipients where required by law, court order, subpoena, or regulatory request, or where necessary to protect our rights, our customers, or the public.

Business transfer recipients in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganisation, or sale of assets. Personal information may be transferred as part of such a transaction.
3.4 Cookies and tracking technologies
We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, SDKs, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your cart and preferences, measure traffic, and deliver and measure advertising. These may include the Meta Pixel, Google Analytics and Google Ads tags, the TikTok Pixel, and Shopify's own analytics.
You can control cookies through your browser settings and, where available, through our cookie preference tool at [COOKIE BANNER / PREFERENCE LINK]. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality including checkout. We honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals as a valid opt-out of sale and sharing where required by law.
If you provide your email address, we may send you marketing emails about products, promotions, and pet wellness content. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing from marketing does not stop transactional messages about your orders, subscriptions, or safety notices.
3.6 SMS and text message programme
NOTE: The following language must also appear at the point of sign-up, next to the consent checkbox. A policy page alone does not create valid express written consent under the TCPA.
By providing your mobile number and opting in, you agree to receive recurring automated marketing text messages from EDUZEBRA at the number provided. Consent is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We do not share mobile numbers or SMS consent with third parties for their own marketing.
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:

Delete — request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal exceptions such as completing a transaction or complying with tax and product safety obligations.

To exercise any of these rights, email privacy@eduzebra.store. To opt out of sale and sharing, use the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our footer. We will verify your identity before acting on a request and will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law, generally 45 days. You may use an authorised agent; we may require proof of authorisation.
If we decline a request, you may appeal by replying to our decision. Residents of certain states may also lodge a complaint with their state Attorney General.
We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, and thereafter as required for legal, tax, accounting, product safety, and dispute resolution purposes. Order and transaction records are generally retained for 7 years. Marketing contact data is retained until you unsubscribe and for a reasonable period afterwards to honour your opt-out.
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and PCI-DSS compliant payment processing handled by our payment providers. We do not store full payment card numbers. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
The Site is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact privacy@eduzebra.store and we will delete it.
The Site may link to third-party websites, including social media and retail partners. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Review their policies before providing information.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be communicated by email or a prominent notice on the Site. Continued use of the Site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
